Ordering and Payments
Making a Purchase
The online shop provides the easiest method to purchase our chocolates; however, if for some reason it does not prove suitable for your own requirements, you are welcome to telephone, email or post an order through to us directly. Once the details of your order are finalised, we would be able to advice you of a range of payment options (cheque, BAC, card payment by telephone, PayPal).
Please do not send cash through the post, only cheques. Cheques should be made out to Charlotte Flower Chocolates.
Payment
We use PayPal as our Secure online payment processor for the online shop.
All major credit cards (Visa/Delta/Electron, MasterCard/Eurocard, American Express, Switch/Maestro, Solo) and PayPal are accepted. A PayPal account is not required and you do not need to create one. You will be redirected to PayPal’s secure site to complete your checkout.
All prices are in GBP
Your order will not be processed until we receive notice of payment through PayPal.
Messages and specific delivery dates
When your order is to be accompanied by a message and you wish to specify a particular delivery date (eg if the order is a present for a birthday), you are able to add this detail when you select the product. It is only possible to enter these details for one product; if there are multiple products to be delivered to the same addressee then you only need to complete the message info and specific date for one of them. However, if you wish to purchase for multiple addressees, please place a separate order for each.
Delivery
We usually have Thins, Bars and Sea Salt caramel chocolates in stock. If there is a problem with any item ordered we will get in touch with you as soon as we can.
We aim to put your chocolates into the post within 3 working days of receipt of your order, and will contact you within that time if there is a problem of any sort.
However, seasonal chocolates are made to order and we need up to 7 working days to be able to complete these.
We use Royal Mail First Class for all our deliveries. If you need any other special delivery, please contact us directly to discuss.
In particular in summer, if we are concerned that warm weather will compromise safe delivery of chocolates, we will contact you to discuss delaying delivery or alternative delivery options. Our standard delivery charges are based on simple packaging, sufficient to protect the chocolates from usual knocks in transit; if warm weather requires ice packs or similar, this might incur additional delivery charges.
