The characterisitc aroma of Meadowsweet is the backnote to summer, its hoeny and bitter almond scent everywhere in July and August. We have often made this into a white chocolate, and for some reason failed to try it in a plain - but once we tried it, it is obvious how those deep and complex flavours will work well with the layers of flavour within a plain chocolate.
We paired the dried flowers with Pump Street Chocolate's Solomon Islands 72% plain chocolate, grinding the flowers into the chocolate itself.
