Covid-19 Update

COVID-19 UPDATE

We plan to continue to make chocolate as long as we can, and will be trying out new summer flavours as they develop. We hope to experiment with new plants, new flavours and new ways of combining them with chocolate to keep a lively menu of products on offer.  I will communicate these through our social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (all @cocoaflower) and through regular e-newsletters (you can sign up for this through our website).

Chocolates can be sent by Royal Mail throughout the UK– so if you have a friend or family member stuck at home and in need of a treat – we can send chocolate.  In the PH15 area we can also deliver to your door.  We are finding that the post can be a little erratic - most of our orders arrive the next day, but the occasional one has taken a little longer to deliver as the Royal Mail is as stretched as every other organisation at the moment.

In the workshop, we have reviewed our situation and adapted our hygiene protocols as you would expect.  Kate is back from ‘furlough leave’ and we are trying to work out how to navigate the limited space and keep each other safe.  Masks, overalls, gloves - and both of us peering through steamed up glasses - we are gebinning to resemble scientists in a hazard lab!

To minimise trips to the local post office, we intend to only post orders out once a week, on Wednesdays; we will make a batch of seasonal ganache filled chocolates each week, ready to be sent out fresh on Wednesdays, and so orders will need to be with us by Monday morning to catch that delivery.  We have a good stock of bars, shards and thins available all the time.

We hope you are all well and stay so; these are strange times but we do have each other, and of course chocolate.
