Corn mint

Mentha arvensis

Corn mint is one of the many Mentha family that we are able to forage around here.  It is a delicate plant, smaller and less abundant than its Water mint or Round leaved mint relatives, and its flavour is also far more delicate - less minty, and more herbal.  We have dried the leaves and ground them into Original Beans Femmes de Virunga (from Demo Republic of Congo) for a lovely creamy, aromatic chocolate bar.

Ingredients:Cocoa solids 55% minimum: cocoa mass, cane sugar, cocoa butter, MILK powder, corn mint leaves (<1%).
